Hi,

I am evaluating the server and I have a question.

A virus can start sending mails from a infected pc without any notice to the user, is there a way to detect this?, like a rule saying: "A user cannot send more than X number of emails every X minutes, and if so, freeze SMTP service to that account"

This is very useful to avoid falling into blacklisted and letting know the domain administrator that the account has been hijacked.

Thanks in advance.

Current version only support traffic control:

https://www.emailarchitect.net/emailserver/doc/?ct=traffic.htm

but it doesn't support to freeze the account that exceed the limit. I thought your idea is very good, i will try to add this feature.

Great !!!, I will be looking forward to your email !!!
Just another thing please (my request was incomplete), when the account gets frozen:

- Send a warning email to the domain administrator and global administrator
- It can only be unfrozen by the global or domain administrator

So the global administrator could be warned and domain administrator can take action with the user (like pc virus cleaning and then unfroze)

Thanks !!! 🙂
