When we receive an email with your component we have a special case with french accents With the method GetHtmlBody() :

Instead of having for the "ê" character 0x00 0xEA
whe have 0xFD 0xFF than means there is an error during a character conversion.

Do you think the error comes from your component or from another place?

On the webmail the display is correct with the accent

When I use your componant and use mail->saveas("Rachid.eml",VARIANT_TRUE) the eml file seems to have an issue.

Could you use EAGetMail to save the email as *.eml file (SaveAs method) and send me the *.eml as an attachment? Because the email you sent me lost the original format.
